Glad to see Clinton and Bush Senior stumping for gifts. Seems like a misdirection play. Why not just pass a law (say raise the tax on dividends), and extract the cash under duress? Be no skin off my nose. I live in a dumpster. How about you?

Three hearts, it seems. Plus GW, I read, kicked in $10,000. Should be compared to his gains from recent tax cuts. How much of the tax cut windfall has he given away to charity to meet his civic obligations/opportunties, and to set an example for compassionate conservatives, and all Americans? What is the measure of civic obligation? Conservatives want to measure and manage everything. What is the measure of our obligation to give back, and how can it managed? What is to be done with those who shirk? Deadbeat billionaires should pay a price, unless the voluntarily give their fair share.
In the pantomine, we see the future of America. Less taxes, hoopla about giving, more $10 k contributions from those who gain the most from stripping the commons.
