We are not pundits at WB, nor Citizen Journalists. We are are artists who hold the mirror up to human nature to expose her hyena face. We are satirists, or call us, "Fetish Action Figures," whose goal is to "delight and instruct," as Horace said we must, through the pleasure and pain of a lash deftly applied. We are surgeons cutting away the ugliness, tightening the skin, and rendering the fat in large vats. We are good pharmacists wrapping the ill-tasting medicine in sweets so the childish reader will drink deeply. We are doctors whose scalpal cuts deep, but only to excise the cancerous bits before they metasatize throughout the body politic. We are teachers demonstrating the ways in which we are deceived by media and brands, and by ourselves, how our very words, as pundits, create the moral monster we have become. In other words, we are just playing around. Art for its own sake, harmless. Journalists - what is it they do again? Chastity, shake your tits for the viewers at home!
