Hearing The Fool berate the King, you might mistake him for a radical. In fact, nothing could be more conservative than keeping the King from making a Fool of himself.

Wouldn't it be better to say that the Fool makes the King what he should be, helping him to see the path of Knavery and hopefully avoid it.
Happy is the land with a wise King.
